Sand in the Apricot Jam is now installed at Expressions Art Centre in Upper Hutt ready for me to take up residency and paint the remaining 3 panels over the coming month.
On my first day onsite I had my dear brother Nik sit for me as one of the Mounted Men. He is representing a soldier who fought in the 3 battles of Gaza.
During the residency/exhibition there is a panel available to visitors to draw their own response to my work and the theme of the exhibition. My boys had a great time drawing on this today
